I need new floors, where do I start?
You're in the right place! Give us a call, visit our showroom, or schedule a Shop At Home appointment to get started. We recommend browsing samples online or in person, then seeing them in your space and lighting. If you need design inspiration, you can look through our Pinterest for ideas.
What does the shopping process look like?
1. Browse samples with the guidance of a Flooring Expert in the showroom or during a Shop At Home appointment. 2. Take samples home to see them in your space and lighting. 3. Schedule a time for your Flooring Expert to take measurements. 4. Receive and review your free estimate
Which flooring type is best for my home?
The answer depends on your lifestyle, budget, and design goals. Our Flooring Experts will ask specific questions to learn about your home and guide you on which flooring type(s) might be best and then provide recommendations.
Do you offer any design help?
Yes! You can browse our Pinterest boards for inspiration, use the visualizer on our website, or work with our in-store designer.
Can I order samples?
Yes! You can order samples yourself on our website, or you can call our showroom and we'll order complimentary samples for you.

Are estimates really free?
Yes! We provide free estimates to customers on all projects - whether you need flooring for your home or your business. Shop At Home appointments are also free, and you'll receive an estimate afterwards.
What is a Shop At Home appointment and how can I schedule one?
We bring a curated selection of samples to your home based on what you're looking for. There's no better way to choose flooring than by viewing different styles in your own space and light. To schedule, simply complete our request form and let us know what time works best for you. A Flooring Expert will reach out shortly after to learn more about your needs, coordinate the appointment, and answer any initial questions.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Chicagoland area, including but not limited to: Orland Park, Tinley Park, Frankfort, Mokena, Homer Glen, Oak Lawn, New Lenox, Palos Heights, Palos Park, Oak Forest, Midlothian, Crestwood, Alsip, Worth, Lemont, Willow Springs, Burr Ridge, Bridgeview, Western Springs, La Grange, etc.
Ordering, Financing & Timeline
How do I place an order?
Once you've received an estimate, we require a 50% deposit and a digital signature.
What happens after I place my order?
Once you place your deposit, we will place the order with the manufacturer. When they give us an estimated delivery date, you will get a call to schedule your installation.
How quickly can I get my flooring project done?
If you select a product that we have in-stock and there's availability on the installation schedule, we can turn around a job in 1-2 days, otherwise the timeline is dependent on those two factors. Special order products usually take 7-10 days to arrive. Installation is usually about 2 weeks from the delivery date.
Do you offer financing?
Yes! We offer 12 month, 0% interest financing through Mohawk Synchrony and through Synchrony Home. You can visit the link on our website to get started.
Installation & Project Prep
Do you offer installation services?
Yes! We offer installation services for all flooring products we sell. Our installers are trusted contractors with whom we've built longstanding relationships with and we guarantee their work. They are true craftsman and will treat your home with the utmost respect.
Can you restretch my carpet that has a wrinkle?
Sometimes! If we installed the carpet, we'll look to see if it's under warranty. For carpet installed by another company, it generally must be under 15 years old and in good overall condition. If restretch is possible, we'll come out to measure and provide an estimate.
Do you move furniture?
We move furniture items, however they must be cleared of all personal items. Bookshelves must be emptied, Beds must be stripped, Tables cleared, Electronics unplugged/moved, etc.
Warranties & Aftercare
Are there warranties on the products or the service?
Yes! Our flooring products come with manufacturer warranties and we guarantee installation for life.
If I have a problem, what do I do?
If there's ever a problem with your flooring, contact us and we'll help determine whether it's covered and coordinate the next steps.
