What is Binding?
Binding involves sewing a fabric strip over the raw edge of the carpet to create a flat, clean border. It is durable and affordable, making it a great choice for high traffic areas with everyday use
What is Serging?
Serging uses a continuous yarn stitch that wraps around the edge of the carpet, forming a rounded border. It has a very tailored finish and is commonly chosen when where style is a priority.
Our Process:
- Select the product or use remaining material from another project
- Determine the size and shape of rug or runner needed for the space This can be fully custom, or see below for standard sizes
- Decide if you want Binding or Serging and if you want it to match or contrast
*After that, the timeline will depend on the product selected. Once we have the product, binding and serging takes 7-10 days.
