We love it, the installers love it, and most importantly our customers love it! LVT is the fastest growing category in the flooring industry, yet it’s still relatively unknown to the common buyer.

LVT goes through a process called the photogravure process, which is an extremely detailed and realistic photo replication that creates the texture and characteristics of real hardwood and stone.

LVT is a great choice for ideally everywhere you want flooring for. It’s practically waterproof; making is an excellent choice for laundry rooms, basements, bathrooms, kitchens and mud rooms. LVT isn’t just limited to moisture-prone rooms. LVT gives bedrooms and living rooms a rich tasteful ambiance and offers great indoor air quality characteristics and won’t trap dust and pet dander, which is a disadvantage of carpet.

LVF (Luxury Vinyl Flooring) consists of two categories:

LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)
Imitates stone such as granite, marble, slate, ceramic, etc.

LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank)
Simulates the wood-look of a wide variety of wood species like maple, oak, walnut, pine, etc.

The benefits in a nutshell:
  • It is a fraction of the price of real hardwood or stone flooring
  • Easy to maintain – simple damp mopping will do
  • Water-resistant
  • Won’t swell or buckle from moisture (spaces where humidity and high-moisture levels can often damage real stone or solid hardwood floors, but LVT resolves that problem.)
  • LVT has excellent warranties
  • Much softer and warmer on your feet than ceramic tile or stone
  • With its extremely high durability, LVT can take a beating and withhold in high traffic areas
  • Can be installed with grout, just as real tile is, or you can install without grout depending on your personal preference
  • Installation can be: glued down or floating

Luxury Vinyl Tile is definitely worth looking into as your next flooring option!
